Product Features

Salmor manufacture a full range of bespoke, fabricated steel solid top covers designed to suit the non-standard openings found on water and waste water projects.

The covers are available in drop-in or hinged formats and include provision for spring and gas assistance to comply with strict new manual handling regulations. The covers also feature options to provide fall protection and a range of locking variants. Covers are available with or without sealing to suit single, double, triple and multiple leaf variants and are designed to meet all load conditions. All products are hot dip galvanised to EN1461.

Test Load: 15 kN
Areas of Application: Light Duty areas subject to no vehicle traffic.

Class B
Test Load: 125 kN
Areas of Application: Medium Duty areas subject to occasional slow moving traffic load.

Class C
Test Load: 250 kN
Areas of Application: Heavy Duty areas subject to occasional slow moving HGV loads.
